After we create a post in this forum and click - > preview - > close preview, then everything is lost!!!!
Please, fix this scenario - 30 minutes of efforts are lost!

Hi Ivan,
Sorry to hear this! I'm trying to replicate this but I don't encounter this issue. Do you mind raising this with the PDN team for their detailed investigation? You can do this by clicking the black feedback button on the right side of your browser screen. I will follow-up on this in parallel.
Again, I'm sorry for the loss of content and your time.

Hi Ivan,
So here's what I did and lost my content in the Body of the post. Can you confirm please?
1. Clicked Write a Post
2. Entered text in title and Body of the form
3. Clicked Preview
4. There was some message to select Text Format and I chose Basic HTML which was the only option
Content in body disappears.
5. Else, I clicked Cancel assuming it was cancel Preview but it cancelled the post so a fresh new form to create a post appeared. Hence, the content was lost.
I did not find an option that directly states "Cancel Preview" I tested it out with my colleague who is not a moderator (just in case)
Is this what happened? Please let us know!

Yes, Lochan.
This is the same scenario I encountered last evening when trying to Preview https://collaborate.pega.com/discussion/using-pega-file-manager. I got two error messages in succession. None of my attempts to respond to them worked.
See my reply to your PDN Request, where I have posted my Steps to Repro and my Workaround.
Workaround (until the PDN team fixes the bug): Do NOT use Preview when posting primary content (questions, discussions) to the PSC.
Click Save without previewing and hope that your content displays as expected.

The PDN Dev team has responded to Lochan's PDN Request (Feedback) and removed the Preview button from the Create Community Post authoring form.
Preview is not currently supported. The Preview control slipped into the UI inadvertently.

Colleagues, thank you for such a promt handling of the issue, this is great to receive such an intensive support from you.
Small remark:
For me the scenario was - write a post -> click preview -> close the window with a close button
I know that the issue is partly my bad - I usually backup everything I type into the browser using notepad, but this time I overwritten my back up. Another mistake I did was to click close button window - I assumed it was in a new window as on many other forums, but I was wrong.
As a possible suggestion to solve the issue: the user might receive a warning when closing such unsaved post and/or all posts might be saved automatically every few seconds in draft mode (check how it is done on http://stackoverflow.com/) - this would be an ideal option.
Kind regards,
Ivan

Thank you Ivan for reporting this for us initially so that we could get it resolved! We do apologize for the inconvenience and frustration. You bring up some great features! Do you mind submitting those using the Feedback button on the right pane? Those go directly to our Developers here. This way if we do bring back the Preview feature, we will have the functionality in your request to go off of.
Thanks again!
