Backward compatibility of PEGA 7 skins
Hi,
Can someone kindly let me know if it is possible to apply PEGA 7 specific skins to order version of PEGA more specificially 6.2 SP2? I know PEGA 7 not comes with advaced UI features like dynamic layout, floats, mixin and the same has been appled to many of the OOTB skins and the same is not availabe in the previous versions. If such migration is possible any idea how much retrofiltting work will be required?

A skin that has been saved in Pega7 will not work in 6.2 because the data model of the rule-portalskin is different and some features present in Pega7 skins were not supported in 6.2 sp2 - This is similar if you want to reuse a section edited in Pega7 back into 6.2 sp2 -> this will likely not work.
if you want to reuse some of the styles present in a more recent skin into 6.2 sp2, you will have to manually set these styles using the 6.2 sp2 rule form.
I have not tried it before but I don't see why not, if it's just CSS behind the scene. The best thing to do is to actually do a POC and test it out on a small project.
