Cache problem

Hi,

 

We are getting below problem frequently in our test environment.

Problem: Some times application is not opening correctly. App server team mention that cache was currupted and they cleared pegatempdir. After application is working fine. Pega Version is 7.1.7.

Please suggest why this is happened and is there any automatic process to clear the cache.
