When we enter a new step it will create a new flow in the appropriate class. For example when we create a Select Medical Benefits step in our case designer for the BenefitsEnrollment step, the corresponding flow rule can be found in application explorer, SAE-HRServices-Work-BenefitsEnrollment under the Process rule category.
Where is this configured, in other words where is the name of the flow rule specified that is called by the step?
Also if a case is saving rules such as flows and flow actions in the wrong class, what could be the cause of this ?
The name of the flow rule is taken from the name of the step, e.g. if the step is "Select Medical Benefits", then the name of the flow rule created is "SelectMedicalBenefits", i.e. without the spaces.
The name of the step then becomes the Description of the flow rule created. You will notice that after creating the "Select Medical Benefits" step, if you rename the step to something else, e.g. "Select Medical Coverage", the flow rule will still be "SelectMedicalBenefits" but the Description of the flow rule will be changed to "Select Medical Coverage".
The case will always save the flow and flow action rules in the case type class. If it is saved in the wrong class it means the step used to create the flow and flow action rules are created in the wrong case type in the Case Designer.
