Really simple question - in previous version there was a button to close all open tabs in designer studio. Not sure if this is mentioned in the "Developer Tour" lesson but scanned the transcript and did not see it. Is there an equivalent button/menu in version 7.1?
the "close all tabs" action in designer studio is in a menu that is opened by clicking on the down arrow in the top corner of Designer Studio (just below the operator id) - clicking on the down arrow allows to select specific tabs but also offers a "close all" action
If I have a number of tabs open and want to close all at the same time I restore my window so it is not maximize and shrink the window down so the tabs fill the entire width. When I do this I get a down arrow that is clickable. From there I can switch between tabs or close all tabs.
In Pega 7.1.6 and lower Pega7 version, you will see the down arrow only when reaching a point where the width of the dynamic container is not sufficient to display all the tabs (tab overflow). It means that you need to open at least 3 work objects / rules in designer studio and resize you window to see the down arrow.
Since this was not a great user experience, in Pega 7.1.7 and higher, the down arrow is always available and you can close all the tabs at any time.
