Community Tip: Specify Your Product and Version
As this community continues to grow in size, so too does the footprint for all the various products and versions being discussed on the community board. To help get a more focused response, saving other members from having to post the now ubiquitous "what product and version are you on?" reply, specify any applicable product information in your initial discussion post.
We realize that many questions and topics can be discussed independent of product/version, so this isn't going to be something we are going to require you do. And we certainly have no plans to enforce any kind of template that could negatively impact the organic and natural discussions going on in this community.
Rather, consider it more as a "courtesy" that benefits you, as well as everyone else who may come and look at your discussion thread.

Thanks Mary. Those are good examples! But, again, just to be clear, this is not any kind of mandate to start putting versions in titles. I personally am a fan of discussion titles that are nice clean, well-worded questions.
That's just me though. So whatever works; the title, a screen shot like the example above, using tagging (big thumbs up from me if you want to do that), and/or clearly stating it in the body text. The one thing that is becoming clear is as more and more topics are being discussed within the community, the more advantageous to the discussion it is to be clear about the product and version you are using, if applicable.
