Configuring full-text search for high availability on Pega 7.18
We are installing Pega 7.18 and went through the article
https://pdn.pega.com/deployment/configuring-full-text-search-for-high-availability
We have questions regarding the setup of NFS referred in the above article. Can anyone give us your recommendations while using NFS in this setup?
Like which version of NFS(v2/v3/v4) , what setting are to be used , for example rw,sync,no_subtree_check etc.,
Hi - Please see the Installation Guide for your environment. Pega 7.1.8 automatically supports full-text search for rules, data instances, and work objects through Elasticsearch. By default, search indexing
is enabled and indexing starts automatically when you start the application server after installing Pega 7.
The Installation Guide includes additional information about customizing search index host node settings.
The article you cite is for users upgrading from versions prior to Pega 7.1.7. I wil update that article to clarify the audience.
