As per article https://pdn.pega.com/data-source-error-handling-data-pages , does pyInvocationException serves the whole purpose in case of all kinds of Exceptions ?Que 2. Like there is a Log-Message method which helps in logging a message if we are using an activity (suppose for Connect-SOAP here), what is the possibility in Data Pages for logging a message. Thanks in Advance..... Could you please provide additional details about the use case of what you want to achieve? Do you want the data page to log a message? Regards, Ipshita Posted: 4 years agoborki PEGA replied to VenkatVegiAssuming that the question is about a data page's capability to log a message as part of error handling, the answer is: Yes, we can use one of the out-of-the-box functions in the POST data transform as mentioned in the template (pxErrorHandlingTemplate) data transform as shown below: Posted: 4 years agoVenkatVegi Tech Mahindra replied to borkiSorry for the delayed response. So reg Log message, does the above data transform step works ( pxLogMessage("Sample Log") ? Let me know if my understanding is correct. To log a message, 1. first we need to capture the exception message in data transform by getting the " .pySoapFaultMessage " 2. Now set the log message as you referred above. Param.LogMessage = .pxLogMessage(".pySoapFaultMessage") Please correct me if i am wrong.
