How to bulk transfer/repair Failed robotic automations

Purpose of this article is to leverage the 'Bulk actions' feature to bulk repair the failed robotic assignments that reside in 'Failed Robotic Assignments' workbasket.

'Bulk actions' is a feature available under Operator Menu on Case Manger portal.

The idea is to add a new action called 'Repair assignments' to the bulk-actions list. In order to do so, one needs to configure a 'Local action' on the assignment shape of 'pyRepairAutomation' flow.

Steps :

1. Override 'pyRepairAutomation' flow into a application ruleset that is available for your case

2. Configure a Local action(Let say 'Repair assignments') for the 'Repair Automation' assignment present in the overriden flow.

3. Open the Flow action referred above in Local action section and go to Action tab.

4. In Post-processing section, use 'ResumeFlow' as the post activity to run with params flowAction:pyRerunAutomation & flowName:pyRepairAutomation

5. Uncheck 'Disqualify this action from bulk processing' option to make this flow action eligible to show up in bulk-actions list.

Now, launch Case Manger portal --> Operator Menu --> Bulk actions --> Process

Then filter cases by 'Assigned to work queue = Failed Robotic Assignments'

Check assignments need to be repaired --> Select Action --> Repair assignments.
