How can I remove a public category from the report browser tab?
Hi
In one of the requirement one public category in the report browser tab needs to be hidden.
The category was created in 01-01-01 and my current version is 01-01-15.
I saved as the category to 01-01-15 and in the visibility condition kept the when rule "pyNotVisibleInBrowser".
It's working fine in my check-out. That means that category is getting hidden when the category rule is in my check out.
But when I am checking in the rule it's again getting displayed. In tracer I saw that it's pointing to the rule that is in 01-01-01.
Can any one help me in this?

Did you define your report category in a separate, does-not-require-checkout "Reporting" ruleset that is added to your Application as a Production ruleset?
Within your Application rule have you (unintentionally) limited your reporting ruleset to a patch level, e.g., 01-01-01, so will not see 01-01-15?
Note: even though your reporting ruleset does not require checkout, you can still create different versions.
Are you using a Manager Access Group which defines Production rulesets within its Advanced tab - the reporting ruleset listed first?
Also within your Manager Access Group's Advanced tab, have you specified your reporting ruleset as the "Design Time Configuration" ruleset?
