If you open the Case Manager portal and you have different kinds if work items each workitem will open into its own tab and might use different harnesses. If you mean having one work object open in a screen with tabs, each tab with different harness, you have to describe the use case better for me.
I have a button in a harness, on click of it case is getting created. On successful creation of case i need to launch XX harness and on failure i need to be there in the same harness. Could you please help me on this.

If your requirement is show harness in same/new tab, use display harness action from configure action UI, When you would like to open in same tab use replace current option and use open in "new tab" option to show harness in new tab.
