I bielieve Data table concept has been replaced with Data Type and Data Page in Pega 7.1.7 Can you help me on how end user can add values in the Data type the way we were adding the row values in the Data tbale prior to Pega 7 using DataTableEditor rule?
In Pega 7.1 Declare Pages evolved into Data Pages. The concept os a Data Type has not changed and Data Types refers to the primitive Data Types that Pega supports for Properties of Property Mode Single Value, Value List, and Value Group. These Data Types include Date, DateTime, Integer, Decimal, etc. The concept of the Property Mode has not changed either. Property Modes in Pega 7 are the same as in previous versions and these include (Page, Page List, and Page Group) as well as the aforementioned (Single Value, Value List, and Value Group).
Data Tables are still supported in Pega 7 and they continue to be refered to as Data Tables. You can also still edit the contents of a Data Table the same way we did in previous versions of PRPC. Simply select DesignerStudio > Data Model > Data Tables > Data Tables.
I believe the confusion comes from the fact that the enhanced Data Table Wizard in Pega 7 in adition to creating a Data Table, Data Class, Properties, and Editor for the same in prior versions now also creates two (2) Data Pages for you to easily reference the Data in your Data Table. The two Data Pages are a List (D_List) to be used to retrieve the entire list of entries in your Data Table and a Page (D_Page) to retrieve the details for only one entry in your Data Table.
