Lock is not Getting Released till 2 Hours after selecting release lock option also
Since last major upgrade 6.3 , user have not been able to unlock accounts that get locked by me when my computer crashes. If something causes my computer to freeze and I go back to the application, the last account I was working on will be locked. can click release lock at the bottom, BUT the lock does not actually release. have to wait to the 2 hours for the auto release to kick in
Hi, is this problem really CPM related ? I'm not sure which Accounts you mean in your question. Are you referring to the Accounts that are used in the CPM application. We don't aquire locks on those. Please provide more details so that we can get a clear understanding of the problem.
The pega version has been upgrade form 5.4 to 6.3 for one of the Application . When user is working on any of the WO ..Suddenly by chace system crashes or IE Closes by mistake.. the lock has been acquired to the WO with the same user. when she is trying to open the wo by opening the new session. she is able to see two oprtions Release lock and close button. When she clicks on release lock button. it is redirecting to the same page again.. and lock is not getting release. and it is automaticaly getting released after 2 hours.
I understand that the PRPC application has been updated. Is the application built direclty on top of PRPC or built on top of CPM(Customer Process Manager) ? This particular forum is for issues specifically with CPM. Based on the description you have provided, this should be posted to a more generic PRPC forum.
