New Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) program coming this summer!
Are you currently in the process of working toward your Certified Lead System Architect certification or eligible to advance your career by participating in the LSA program in order to achieve Lead System Architect certification? If you answered yes to either of these questions then the new Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) program, coming this summer, is for you. This new program will be released in conjunction with the Pega Platform 7.3 release.
CLSA 7.3 Certification Path Launch
The new CLSA 7.3 program launches summer of 2017. The new program includes new courses to help you prepare for CLSA certification. Additionally, you need to take and pass the following exams to achieve 7.3 certification:
LSA Readiness Exam
Pega Architecture Exam
LSA Architecture Application Build Exam
Over the coming weeks, more information about the new CLSA 7.3 program, including new CLSA 7.3 courses and certification exam availability, will be shared. Stay tuned!
CLSA 7.1/7.3 Certification Path Recommendations
The following table lists LSA candidate current status and recommendations for achieving CLSA certification on either 7.1 or 7.3.
CLSA 7.1 Certification Path Retirement
The current CLSA program is based on Pega 7.1. To earn CLSA 7.1 certification you must take and pass the CLSA Part 1 and the Part 2 (application build) exams.
The current CLSA 7.1 exam and application build retire at the end of 2017 according to this schedule:
CLSA Part 1 exam retires on October 31, 2017
CLSA Part 2 application build retires on December 31, 2017
The Part 2 Application Build Exam is offered at a discounted price of USD 600 for students who take and complete the exam from June 1 through November 30, 2017.
The Part 2 Application Build Exam is full price during the month of December.
If you need to achieve CLSA 7.1 certification, you must register for and complete the Part 1 and Part 2 application build exams by these dates. No exceptions will be made to this schedule. Important: No retakes will be allowed after the retirement dates.
Just pointing this out in case people have missed it.
According to an email I received today from Pega, the Decisioning consultant certification is now a prerequisite of CLSA v7.3. SSA's intending to complete v7.3 instead of v7.1 need to be aware that they need to complete CPDC first. That or just do CLSA v7.1 before it expires.
If candidates have previously cleared CLSA 7.1 part 1 exam and 6 months have already passed by then, can they re-attempt just part 2 before December 31st or they need to again attempt both CLSA 7.1 part 1 and part 2?
