Nexus 2&3 FAQ and troubleshooting guide
How can I test connection with Nexus through Pega Platform?
To see if you are connected to Nexus 2 or 3 properly through Pega Platform, follow the steps below to confirm that you can upload, download, and delete.
In your application definition, under Integration & Security, set your Content Storage to “Store in repository”, choose your Nexus repository rule, then “Browse” and select a target folder (where your files will be uploaded/downloaded from).
Create a new case.
Attach a local file. The section may be called “Attachments” or “Recent content”, depending on the version of Pega you are using, but both should be on the right hand side of the case. Verify that the file was uploaded to Nexus.
Download this file. Verify that it’s not corrupted.
Delete this file. Verify the file was deleted off Nexus as well.
I'm having issues importing and exporting with custom repositories
Nexus 2 and Nexus 3 components are custom repositories, which means the following features are incompatible:
Pega Platform export and import.
Branch explorer export ("Publish to repository") and import ("Add branch from remote repository").
Nexus 3 provides a variety of repository types, but when used with Pega Platform, you must use repository type "raw". Other types necessitate configurations that are not supported in Pega Platform.
Can Nexus repository component use the SSL certificates from Platform truststore?
No, currently this is a limitation of the Nexus component. Please import the SSL certificates into the Java truststore.
Still not working?
If you still experience issues after following all of the installation steps, please ensure that you are using the correct Nexus component for the version of Nexus you are using. Nexus 2 and Nexus 3 components are not interchangeable.
