I am using Persona testing in Pega Marketing 8.4 and so far the experience is quite frustrating . First of all there is hardly any details on this feature in Pega help or in PDN. A test scenario associated with a Persona profile is failing if re-executed even though we didn't made any change in between when it got passed first time around.Additionally, most of the time there is no way to check why a test scenario is failing .
I would like to know whether anybody has use this feature so far and what is your experience.
There could be a number of things that are causing your Persona Test to fail. A few basic things to check are below
Defining a Persona test:
Which level are you defining the test at? Group, Issue or Top Level. Also what scope are you using? Engagement policies or Engagement and Arbitration? When using Arbitration, you must have ensure you have an outbound channel active and a channel treatment associated to your actions.
Once you define and run the test, you will see a test run badge to the right indicating Pass/Fail. Clicking on this badge should show you the reason the test failed.
Clicking on the fail badge will open a test results window which should give you an indication as to why the test failed.
