Problem with pljava installing Pega 7.1.7
Ok i'm having problem installing pega 7.1.7 with pljava library , i already have installed postgres 9.1 and postgresql-9.1-pljava.csj. if i try to find pljava.jar, i only can find pljava.so. At the page 12 of the installation guide they refer to at tar file containing the pljava file ,but i can't find it. how can i solve this problem
Seems to be little information available for pljava. Really tough, and I think Pega should provide clear information for this. However, the software that is needed here is from pgFoundry.org which seems to have removed the references for the downloads. I have searched!

We are trying to install Pega 7.1.9 with postgresql but unable to complete the installation of the PLJava extension. We made use of yum to install Postgresql 9.3. After the installation we see that the directory structure is different from what is available in the Installation guide.
We got to know from an SR that PLJava installation on Postgres can be skipped if we ensure that we are not reading blob properties using sql queries. So we went ahead without PLJava installation on Postgres and setup Pega.
