Rules Upgrade Step - UDF SQL Statements Apply Error - unable to map to a single Java method.

Hi,

We are upgrading from 5.5 to 7.1.9 (DB-UDB). In Rules upgrade step we used generatedll.sh step to generate all dll statements. Along with udb.sql, this script generated 3 UDF also. When our DBA applied the scripts to DB udb.sql executed fine, but all 3 UDF's are giving error as below. Looks like UDF's are functions with name "pr_read_from_stream" and they are referring to external name 'RULESUPGRADE.PRREADSTREAM :com.pega.pegarules.data.udf.directstreamreader. DirectStreamReaderDB2LUW.get'.

We anticipated some DB Java issue, but DBA saying JAVA is enabled, if having doubts they are asking to get exact instruction from Pega to enable JAVA in UDB. If any one come across this issue please help us with some info.

Error Snippet:

DB21034E The command was processed as an SQL statement because it was not a
valid Command Line Processor command. During SQL processing it returned:
SQL20204N The user defined function or procedure
"RULESUPGRADE.PR_READ_FROM_STREAM" was unable to map to a single Java method.
LINE NUMBER=11. SQLSTATE=46008
