Upgrade Personal Edition

Hi,

Can i upgrade my Personal Edition to the latest release.

I have 7.1.2, can i update in to 7.1.9?

Are the following steps feasible for this scenario ?


  1. Major Skim in 7.1.2 (Optional)

  2. Create a product Zip from 7.1.2

  3. Import the Zip into 7.1.9

  4. Revalidate and save

Try this:


  1. Use the Application Packaging Wizard to export your work including work objects and data in an export ZIP file. Save the file somewhere secure.

  2. Uninstall the original version of Personal Edition.

  3. Install the new version of Personal Edition.

  4. Import the export ZIP file with your application into the new version of Personal Edition.
