VBD quiz
In the followin quiz, I selected "The value of the KPI in the reference simulation is smaller than the value in source", but it was marked incorrect. Am I right to believe that my answer agrees with the explanation, and therefore should be considered as correct?
In VBD, when comparing the results of simulations reference and source the red colour indicates (Choose One)
The value of the KPI in the reference simulation is greater than the value in the source simulation
There was an error during the evaluation of reference KPI
The value of the KPI in the reference simulation is smaller than the value in source
There was an error during the evaluation of source KPI

Sorry, this is incorrect.
We compare against a reference (baseline simulation). Red indicates a drop in a value of a KPI
Hi Damianos
Thank you for your query.
When comparing two simulation results in the Visual Business Director, "Reference" is typically the "baseline" - a simulation that you have run earlier and "Source" is typically the current simulation in question.
Assuming this is the case (and that is also the general assumption as explained in the lesson), a red indicates that there is a drop in KPI in the latest (or "Source") simulation when compared to the "Reference" (or "baseline").
So, the correct answer is "The value of the KPI in the reference simulation is smaller than the value in source".
Hope this clarifies.
Feel free to write back for more clarification.
