Wrong flow when testing Run for flow with parallel steps
Hi,
I am following the SAE1 course. After completing the assignment "Model Processes with the Process Outline" I used the Run option to test the draft flow so far. I noticed that the flow ended after the phase "4. Decision" instead of continuing to "5. Offer". Correct behaviour would have been to prompt for the outcome of the decision in "Asess candidate" as well as to prompt for the missing form of "Background check". After completing both steps the process should proceed to "5 Offer".
To test my assumption I changed said steps to sequential steps temprorarily and then the flow behaved correctly when performing a draft Run.
Kind regards,

Hi,
this is a known issue due to parallel processing with a flow which is in error.
To temporarly fix this (it will be fixed when you will implement the decision rule for the decision shape) you need to click on the link named ... something like "Approve" first.
In fact when you arrive to the 4 stage, you are suggested to work on the Background check first. Scroll down and use the blue links to select the other action which is Assess Candidate but the link name is not Assess Candidate ("Approve" maybe) Submit the flow in error by selecting a result (Yes/No)
Then you can do Background check and it will process to the 5th stage.
