As a developer I generally do not have access to servers running my application. This means that I don't have access to historical logs when PRPC is using a rolling appender for the log files. This can be an issue when trying to debug an issue, or get the log file to attach to an SR. It would be a handy enhancement if at least through SMA I could log into a server and have a chance to download the historical log files. When looking at AES vs. Splunk the once place that Splunk comes out ahead is this. Due to the way Splunk works it has the full logs and allows me as the developer to download those logs without having to reach out to an admin, or submit a request to get access to the historical logs.
