Flow rules are distorted after upgraded from 6.1 SP2 to 7.2.0

After we upgraded from PRPC 6.1 SP2 to Pega 7.2.0, all our flows designed with Visio are either distorted/overlapped in Process Modeler. Flow images with shapes and connectors that were previously clear and well organized in PRPC 6.1 SP2 Visio now appear overlapped, and some complex flow images are unreadable.

We followed the local change mentioned in the below PDN Article

https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/visio-flows-convert…

However, only with those code changes (When and Activity rules) in place (in private check-out), flow are rules are visible properly. But when you discard those changes, flow comes back to original distorted manner.

Even If we try to save the flow rule with above code changes, underlying binary image rule gets saved with a proper revamped snapshot. However, flow rule is still distorted with out the local code fixes.

How do we go ahead with this kind of situation ?

Should we raise an SR to pega asking for these code fixes enabled with an extension point (like a when rule) which we can use as a switch to make these two rule changes effective?

Many thanks in advance for taking time to reply

Thanks
