HotFix recommended in the 7.3 French Language Pack
Hello,
I'm a bit confused because in the French language pack release note I can read:

Thanks a lot Vikash.
You may want to let people writing those readme files (see answer to Mary) know that providing the HotFix number instead of the DL will save us some time :)
Cheers!

Thanks Alex!
We're following up on this internally.

Hi Alex,
It appears that you are using https://pdn.pega.com/exchange/components/french-language-pack-pega-platform
Is that right?
Clicking Learn More on the French Language Pack page brings us to the Pega 7.1.8 Help topic -- and only that topic -- no release notes or other information.
Is the information that you gave from the French Language Pack in the Release Notes? Or some other documentation?
If yes, I suggest that you submit a Doc BUG using the PDN Feedback button on this (and other PDN pages).
Follow these instructions: https://pdn.pega.com/community/product-support/question/how-report-pdn-issues
In your PDN Feedback, link to this PSC discussion.
Also report that the documentation for the language pack should refer to HFix#s -- not DL files and not SR#s.
Thanks!

Hi Mary,
Thanks for your response.
I've downloaded the French language pack from sw.pega.com. In the package (115510_FLP7.3.zip) there is a documentation folder and in this folder there is a Readme.txt (Sorry, I meant "Readme" and not "Release Note" in my first post). That's where I found those instructions. I've attached the file for your reference.
Best regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thanks for attaching the ReadMe file.
I'm submitting the Doc Bug on your behalf and will post the BUG# here when I have it.
You (and other Pega employees) can track it (Follow it) in Agile Studio.
Stay tuned.

BUG-327033 French Language Pack 7.3 ReadMe contains refs to DL files instead of HFixes
Pega employees can Follow the status of this bug in Agile Studio.
Note the question that I asked in my bug report about the class of product (product family) that Pega Language Packs belong to related to the exceptional use of DL file references. The exception is also noted in the Pega-internal SA Style Guide.
Exception: References to DL files are allowed in Application and Industry Solution products, which have Hotfix pages on the PDN that include DL file citations. Example: https://pdn.pega.com/pega-underwriting-insurance-hotfixes

Hi Alex,
When you open the SR to request those hotfixes, please post your SR ID here so that we can track for you.
Vikash - Just to clarify, did you submit this enhancement for Alex? If you did, please reply with the Feedback ID so that we may track that and for Alex's reference as well.
Thanks!

Thank you! I updated the original post with this information!

The Pega Language Pack team has resolved BUG-327033 and BUG-328511 in future releases of all Pega Language Packs. Both bugs pertain to the language pack ReadME files delivered with the software kit.
The fix for BUG-327033 replaces DL file references with HFix-# references.
The fix for BUG-328511 corrects the instructions for testing the language pack to describe how to add the localization to an operator and removes specific references to administrator@pega.com.
The team has also updated the Contact Information for Pega Language Packs.
(Pega Language Packs are available on the PDN, the Resources menu, Pega Exchange, the Category Components.)
Hi,
DL-71361 refers to HFIX-36018
DL-71363 refers to HFIX-35859
You can ask for the above hotfixes from the same SR.
SR-B68741 refers to the issue : With language pack installed, adding a case type , case stepname(s) placeholders are not localized.
For this issue enhancement request has been raised.
Thanks,
Vikash
