How to make the password expiry date driven instead of date and timestamp driven
In our application User's password gets expire for every 90 days. But system is calculating on date and time stamp. E.g. If user is has updated his password on March 01, 2017, 14:00:00(hhmmss). After 90 days user is allowed to login till 14:00:00 if user logs in after 14:00hrs system is asking to change the password. But we need to change this as date driven. i.e. system should ask to change the password based on the date not on the date and time.
We are using V7.1.5

As you describe, the calculation is on the date and time. Unfortunately, there is no option for you to change it to be date only. However, you can file an enhancement request for a date only option in an upcoming release.
Upon submitting this enhancement for you, it has been actually discovered to be a bug! We need you to create an SR, referencing this post asking for a hotfix request. Once submitted, please reply back to me with the SR # so that I may take next steps to connect this post with the SR and follow up with GCS to make sure this hotfix request is submitted.
Thanks so much for submitting this and helping us to identify a bug!
