Report Export in CSV format
I posted a question related to this topic in the past(Ability to export report in csv format).
we have a critical business requirement of ability to export large report (beyond excel's row limit, millions of rows). business users would like to export large report data out of Pega for later analysis on frequent basis.
Excel cannot support this requirement, as it is limited in terms of max number of rows.
could we get enhancement to achieve this? we are using 7.3.

Whenever your operator runs a report, PRPC loads the data on the thread and memory is consumed because of that.
If your report returns huge amount of data, then chances are there you might run into OOM error frequently. That is the reason we encourage user to use BIX in case there is a need to get huge chunk of historical data from DB.
You can raise an enhancement request with your requirement and the business justification behind this request, so that our product specialists will help you with your requirement. Hope its clear for you.

Yes. I do need this to be filed as an enhancement request. we have a business need to download reports in CSV format from report browser screen for further analysis.existing excel export is not capable of handling reports that business user would like to generate on frequent basis.
