The requirement is that for example we have certain access groups named Bank:admin,Bank:developer,Bank:tester etc....My requirement is that i need to display the access groups coming under bank in a auto complete from the list of all access groups.Right now in pega when we check the access groups when we click down button all the access groups are listed.I need to display only the access groups corresponding to Bank in the auto complete
An access group restricts access to functionality within your application. You can create multiple access gr.oups for the same application to achieve different levels of access control.
The syntax, <ApplicationName>:<AccessRole> as mentioned, Bank:admin, Bank:developer etc. is a custom syntax used by the developer as standard to understand the access group belongs to "Bank" application and access roles as admin, developer etc.
It's for logical representation, not OOTB auto created access group name/id.
Though, if your requirement is having a custom User Interface where you want to display all the access groups. Then you could configure it with an auto-complete with "AccessGroup" page of Data-Admin-Operator-AccessGroup class with pre-filtering or a create report definition with the filter condition starting with "Bank:" for "pyAccessGroup" property and refer this report definition in an auto-complete to implement your use-case.
