ADFS SSO for multiple Pega instances in AWS

Hi,

Our production deployment of Pega will be hosted in AWS across 2 availability zones.
Two servers across Availability Zone 1 and 2 (PRPC, PegaCall, PegaMarketing)
Two servers across Availability Zone 1 and 2 (PRPC, BIX)
Two servers across Availability Zone 1 and 2 (PRPC, AES)

We would like to enable SSO via ADFS to these instances and would like your guidance on the approach. If we go with the federation approach like show on the below link, do we have to install the ADFS agent (window identity foundation) on each server or is there a better approach?
