Agile Workbench error: This priority is not available for this project.
I have our Jira integrated with Pega's Agile Workbench. When I try to Add a Bug or Story in Agile Workbench, I get the following error message: "This priority is not available for this project." See attached screen shot.

From the error it looks like you are using a customized version of JIRA.
Agile workbench integration with JIRA assumes 5 priority levels for story (1-5). If that is not the exact levels available in JIRA, you will get this error. Please confirm if that is true in your case.
In JIRA the mapping is 1- Highest, .... 5 - Lowest.
When you try to create a story in Agile workbench when connected to JIRA, We by default create it as Priority 5 and if that is not available in your JIRA, it will fail to map.
We don't support customized version of JIRA. But still since all the rules are available in JIRA ruleset. You can override and map the priorities as you would like to. This would require changes in multiple rules like decision table, Data transform, Sections and activities. Exact changes required will be as per your customization of JIRA, but would require some understanding of the code.
When I create a new issue directly in our Jira project for Issue Type Bug or Story, the Priority dropdown has the values None, Lowest, Low, Medium, High, Highest. So, does the Priority values in Jira in the Priority dropdown have to actually be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5? Also, what if Priority was NOT customized, but other fields were customized? Or if we added custom fields?
The current JIRA component on Pega Exchange is a basic reference implementation with the default values and behavior provided by JIRA. If there are any customizations done, the component can be enhanced with the required changes on your end or help can be provided to guide if there is a support request(SR) raised.
