Alexa Chatbot not returning result
Configured an Alexa channel but testing the utterances through service simulator (on Test tab) of Amazon developer portal is returning "There was an error calling the remote endpoint, which returned HTTP 500 : Internal Server Error".
On executing the same request through Test Simulator (BETA) returns "Request to skill endpoint resulted in an error."
I have followed all steps as mentioned in the tutorial. But noticed a difference that when Configuration is generated from Alexa channel - in the screenshot (in the guide) the LIST_OF_ANSWERS_FOR_ALL_QUESTIONS has some value whereas the pop up that shows in my application is blank (please refer attached)
It sounds like there is a configuration error with the endpoint, access group or SSL. If you open the Service REST rule alexachannel • srv • alexa and trace this, you should be able to see the incoming request from Amazon. This is a good starting point for troubleshooting as you work through the request and see where it is failing. Please try to trace this and let me know if you can see any errors in the tracer and we can go from there.
Hi Andrea, I believe the operator settings (Change password on next login and Disable operator) on the template operator were causing the issues. Please let me know if you're still having problems with the channel.
