Any performance issue with too many skills
HI we have an existing funcationality called "client number skills", work items crated for a paricular client number should be pulled by specefic CSR we has that client number skill.
We used to have 40 client number skills.
Because of business expansion, Customers are asking for more skills(Client number) to be added. we it may grow to thousands.
But at the end, a user can have 10 to 20 skills at most. workitem can have only one skill. In system we will have 1000+ skills.
can this cause any performance issue.
Hi Hari,
If I understand correctly, you are talking about skill based routing where a workObject would be associated with skills and Operator/CSR based on matching skill would pull it by GetNextWork.
So if your skills increases no of operators increase as well and hence you may be concerned about Performance.
However 1000 is not a big number and it would not have any performance issue.
