Can someone please explain why we do we need a lower version when hotfix is needed? Doesn' the higher version get the priory in the rules resolution? Using the example below, why not implement the fix in a new ruleset 01-01-06? Thank you.

@BrianC643 I'm not sure about the context of that TIP but this is done when planning development activities. For example you go to production with MLP1 on 01-01-01 and you start a new development for the next MLP. Instead of going for 01-01-02, the recommendation is to go for 01-01-05 or higher leaving a gap in case you need to provide a fix to production before MLP2 is ready. That fix can be delivered in 01-01-02 and applied to production without interfering with your current development. When your MLP is ready it will be released on top of the 01-01-01 and 01-01-02 and everything will work.
