AUT generated DT rules also showing warning as TestCase required
We are doing AUT in Pega 7.3.1 version. When we creating test cases for flow rules, its creating some when rules in background and this rules are coming again in application warning to add rule descriptions and adding test cases.
We are unable to find where this auto generated DT are using in Test cases.
Please suggest on this auto genrated rules information and how to disble AUT warnings for AUT rules.
1. Users might create some test artifacts to do setup/clean-up. These rules may generate guardrail warnings if coding standards are not followed and generate "Informational" guardrail warnings if there are no test cases for these rules.
2. There are some test rules which automatically get created while creating tests, like the data transform that get generated to store the input data while creating test case for a flow or case type rule. These rules would only generate a guardrail warning if there are no test cases created for them.
The informational warning doesn't add to the guardrail score, whereas other warnings generated due to incorrect coding standards may generate moderate/severe guardrail warnings. It is advised to follow standards.
However, we have taken up the above mentioned feedback item & providing a solution in 8.1.
Any test rule-set will be excluded for the purpose of calculating guardrail score i.e. warnings generated by rules stored in a test rule-set are not considered for guardrail score.
