We have a specific requirement to generate pdf from word doc and print it automatically to a local printer.
There are two parts of the requirement.
1. Automatic pdf generation:
Right now we are generating MS word document to trigger any customer letter. We had to do that in Word because we need specific font and size (frutiger 45 light) to generate letter which is not doable in pdf. Now since we have already MS word document, we want to convert it in pdf. Do you have any definitive and workable solution for this? I have seen some postings in Pega community but nothing seems to be working. Please let me know if any third party library is required for this,
2. Automatic Printing:
Also we want to send the pdf to the local printer automatically without any user interaction. Do you have any solution available in Pega for this?
FYI, Our Pega platform (7.4) is running on WAS 8.5 and AIX operating system.

@SandipD2 We don't have any built-in function to take a WORD file and convert to PDF.
Pega Platform does ship with various PDF-related libraries and Apache POI libraries - so there are components to work with both PDF and WORD (and other office files) - but they need to be 'wired' together into a custom solution.
Note: OOTB you can convert HTML to PDF (HTMLTOPDF) ; but everything else would require customization.
