If we have a web application deployed in our local machine and another app like Calculator in the Citrix Server, wants the automation to click the + in the Calculator when we press a button in the web application which is in local and also wants automation to click on a button in the web application when = is pressed in the Citrix, how many automations we need? As I understood this should be 2.Dont have a Citrix environment to check this.Read in Pega documentation, we have to deploy the same deployment files both on local machine and in Citrix since this is in mix-mode. So shall we call that we need 4 automations but two of them will be the same copies of other two?
I think the answer is 2 because you need the automation to be in the context where the event happens.
See this reference:
It is very important to place the automation in the context which contains the initiating action. In this case, the user clicks the M+ button to initiate the text movement to the Citrix context – Notepad application. Because the Calculator and the associated M+ button click event reside in the local context, the automation is in the local context.
