Business Transaction Monitoring

We have a customer who is wanting to monitor business transactions

By this we mean how long a customer search takes from submitting the data.

How long an interaction task (eg change address) is taking and how long is wrap up call taking.

The examples provided are from Customer Service but could apply elsewhere, is there a recommended approach for capturing such information.

We were hoping to use the tool appdynamics to do this but the monitoring of specific urls and parametes does not seem to be possible to identify these business actions completly. Has anyone taken appdynamics further than simple class level monitoring to look at this

or used a different tool, is this on the Pega roadmap to allow such measuring?
