Can we switch application during login based on the device ?
We have a requirement where when user logs in through a mobile device, user should access the lower version of the application.
This is because, we have 2 versions of application :
01.01.01 - UIKit
01.01.02 - Cosmos version.
All the mobile applications should be pointed to the UIKIT version, where as web login should point to cosmos version of the application.
Please let me know if you have any thoughts on this.

@saishankerm on login you will have the Sso or your specific activity triggered. There you check for device being used and point the user to that specific application.

I am unable to figure out the activity to make the changes / customisation.
Could you let me know if you have any approach in mind.

@saishankerm Check you SSO servlet mapping and also from your login profile you can know activity getting called.
Use referencing rules on the activity and figure out the chain of activities. It should be straight forward.
Open operator record --> Advanced tab --> Starting activity to execute -->Data-Portal.ShowDesktop
This should give you a head start.

Is that question regarding accessing Pega app on mobile using plain browser (Chrome, Safari) or PIMC mobile application (built from the Mobile Channel)?
My below response is applicable when the answer is PIMC app.
Please create a Mobile Channel when being logged as an Author on UIKit-based app and build your app (iOS/Android) from there. I assume you have two separate access groups for end-users 1) UIKitBasedApp:Users 2) CosmosBasedApp:Users. Please make sure that for end-user operator records both AGs are configured, and Cosmos-based one is configured as a default one.
