At one point in my app I have tried to use the change stage form in order to re enter the first stage in the case type, however I couldn't. Then I tried to use the Utility form to change my stage which has returned the error given below:
"My First Stage's Name" is the case creation stage. Case cannot re-enter this stage.
If there's any way to fix this, I would be very happy to know. Thank you :)

Please not that if you case is being created at the very first stage, then it cannot jump back to that stage. Normally, the case should have been created with "New" status from "pyStartCase" flow itself.
Have you customized anything for your case type WO creation? Also, it would be helpful if you can share the exact error message or a screenshot of the same.
I have learned that in Pega 8.5 you get a default Create stage which cannot be jumped in. I was following a tutorial from 8.4 thus my confusion. I think leaving the first stage empty and creating a new one to jump is the right solution though there is no way to jump in to the first stage if it was the default one. The error message was the exact thing I have supplied in my question however here is the screenshot of the error.
Beginning 8.5 recommendation is to configure the 'Create' view, pre & post-processing logic for case creation in the 'Create' stage right in the model which was not the case earlier. As this stage is primarily for capturing initial data for case creation, we believe re-enter into this stage might not be useful. Hence this validation is enforced. Please find more details on the 'Create' stage https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/case-management/85/create-stage
