Cases are missing when clicking on the workbasket from dashboard

As per active WIP report case is assigned to workbasket. But case is missing when clicking on the basket from dashboard.

That means case not available on particular workbasket, as a result case was not actioned on time.

Have seen this issue for some cases in production environment.

Can anyone please advise on this issue?
