In CDH or PM can pega directly get the KPI data from client data sources without BI and ETL in between?
According to my prior experience, in any Marketing or Decisioning project getting the right Customer data /KPIs is the foremost problem. Getting it involves many discussion and dependency on Client BI and ETL systems, and frequently this BI/ETL dependency decides the project schedule.
My questions is it possible that pega can directly access client customer data to get the raw and derived KPIs in the PEGA customer table and if it will be scalable performance wise (as well as functional wise) considering that the data can be huge?
I was of the opinion we can use data flow for above purpose but I am not sure if that will be scalable.
If it's possible then it can streamline the soln and also will ensure the data to be more real time.
