Changing the contents of a non-auto generated section
I want to change the statement in the section highlighted in the attached screenshot. It is however a non auto generated section. Different statements appear on different screens because of this. Deleting the section and using a lable won't work. How do i change this ?
Can you provide the complete HTML source from the CPMDialog non autogenerated section. Looks like you have lot of HTML code in it and the property which holds the 'statement' you want to change need to be identified and where these statements (as you said different statements being picked for different screen) are stored.
look for CADialog page on the clipboard when you launch the portal and probably the property 'dialogstream' or check for the appropriate property from the clipboard and verify from where it gets the data from. This will help you find out where you need to modify the statements.

Hi Anuj, those "statements" are called Dialogs and are a key part of the Pega Customer Service application. The dialog that is displayed is based on the context of the work that is currently in flight.
What exactly are you trying to do ? If you want to change the string is shown, there's an appropriate way to do that. If you want to remove it completely, there's also a way to do that.
Please look through the Pega Customer Service Implementation Guide for documentation on how to update Dialogs.
We strongly suggest that you don't alter the code in the CPMDialog section.
