Chat window/Icon as an overlay


I need help in figuring out how to place the chat window in a case manager portal as a Overlay.

Detailed : Lets say i have a case open, in the right bottom i should have my chat as an overlay like we see in banking sites. Header bar and on click of it the web chat mashup section should display.

I tried to implement like they did for Pulse, but the Chat window quite doesn't fit.

It would be great if someone can give an Approach with some sample.
