I am trying to close a tab on click of close button. When creating a new object, the close button is working by referencing on click action "Cancel" and bypassing the pop up confirmation by referencing section pxDisableClientDirtyDetection. This same section is referenced when clicking and opening a draft object. The URL to open this draft object is generated and then calls RedirectAndRun.
On this instance of opening a draft object and then using the close button on this custom URL, the screen goes to blank white screen and the tab itself does not close. I've tried a couple options like calling a script for close on click and calling doClose activity itself, these did not work.
Any idea of why this is happening and how to fix it?
Is this action only failing when using this "custom" URL?
What about this URL is custom or different from an OOTB implementation. I assume if you add similar button on your WO without the custom URL, the behavior works fine?
Hi Rett_Hean_GCS , thanks for the reply. This action is only failing when being used within the custom URL. we have two ways to access this screen, one from a URL that we build and then call redirectAndRun to create new thread and run the assignment. The other way we access this same section is through creating a new order via the application OOTB internal URL (ending in /PRServlet). When accessing through this internal /PRServlet URL, the on click of the close button which has action Cancel, the tab closes completely. When accessing through the custom built URL the tab does not close but instead goes to a blank screen. Are we missing access to some methods or scripts in our custom URL that we are accessing through RedirectAndRun?
