Configure two different Database (JDBC connections) for a single Application inorder to carryout functional level archival
I am developing a solution for archiving records from work related tables in the LIVE applications to an archival database. But the Live application has only one JDBC connection in database rule and hence I am not able to copy from one the table in one database to the archival table in the other.Could you please advice if there is a possibility to configure two databases in on application.

If you want you can configure external database in pega application. As your requirement is to configure archival database in live pega application server, i would suggest you to configure different application server with datasource as archival database.
1.In the live environment , I want to obj-open on the pc_work tables in Database 1(LIVE) in SRN_DATA.pc_work for some 100 cases and do an obj-save on the archival Database 2(ARCHIVAL) in SRN_DATA.pc_work_archival. In this case I need to access both the table (class) from the same activity in LIVE environment. But the road block I have is , I am only able to create one Database rule from one Live application. This way I cannot do an OBJ-SAVe into SRN_DATA.pc_work_archival.Hope you get my point now
