I am not sure I understand your questions? The SQL connector is intended to connect to external databases, however you could connect to any database if set up correctly in Pega. So I am assuming you could. I have used the database class mapping tool to connect to the Pega Database and so the SQL connector is the same principal. I am not sure what you are trying to achieve with this. Most of the Work/Case data is stored as a Blob, so you would have to expose the information you wanted as columns. I think using a report rule or BIX would be a better solution.
