Connector and Metadata Wizard unable to Parse WSDL

HI Everyone

I am trying to import a new WSDL for setting up a new Web Service, but while providing the Local WSDL file name, i am getting multiple errors. As seen below--

The Flow Action post-processing activity LoadWSDLDocument failed: Problem invoking function: pega_rules_utilities.callActivity--(ClipboardPage,String,ParameterPage), Illegal characters detected in the path "xdsl2.kpn.com/xdsl/ws/fpi/13?xsd=xsd/FPIRequest13.xsd". You may not use ", ?, *, <, >, |, :

Problem invoking function: pega_rules_utilities.callActivity--(ClipboardPage,String,ParameterPage), Illegal characters detected in the path "xdsl2.kpn.com/xdsl/ws/fpi/13?xsd=xsd/FPIRequest13.xsd". You may not use ", ?, *, <, >, |, :

pyMetadata:

** Could not create an instance of the WSDL parser: Couldn't parse WSDL document

Since the WSDL is already being used by other end systems, i cannot get it changed to not include the Illegal charterers. Can anybody let me know any workarounds/hotfixes? Or if i am doing this wrong/or have a faulty understanding of the error?

Regards
