In 8.5, there is a new feature for email treatments that allows you to designate them as Internal or External. When our system was upgraded to 8.5, all existing email treatments that were built in 8.4 were converted to the Internal type. Is there a way to convert these to External type or do they need to be rebuilt?
See attached screen shot. The treatments were built on 11/24 in 8.4, and the system upgrade to 8.5 occurred 12/3-4.
Prior to 8.5, there was no concept on an external email treatment. All treatments were inherently internal. As such, on upgrade, these were not really converted to internal, they just continued to be internal.
External treatments are essentially just data, which you would not have had previously in internal data, so there is no way to "convert" an internal treatment into external. Unfortunately this means you will need to re-create them.
