Hi, your post mentions two different versions .. the header says 7.3 but the body says you're upgrading to 7.1.3. If the version really is 7.3, then the old CSR portal is no longer supported. That's where the Classic and Tabbed Navigation were present. If it's 7.13, they are still supported. You may have to add the portal to your access group and launch it directly.
We are upgrading to 7.31 and trying to switch to New Interaction portal only as per pega recommendation. If that is the case only Tabbed navigation is supported is what my question was ?? Is there a document that talks about this ?? CRMHC 7.31 is what the version is..

In 7.31, there's only one type of navigation that's available. It's a not that only Classic or Tabbed is available, it's really a combination of both. It's based on the Pega platform's Recents functionality and allows you to run multiple service processes at a time (tabbed), but still have the customer composite visible at all times (classic). The Upgrade documentation should cover all of this. This new portal was introduced in 7.13, so any version there or later should cover it.
