Creating and adding cases to work basket

Hi All, I am new to pega tool and looking for the best approach that I can take for the following case. I am list having a list of users information in an excel spreadsheet [I.e. Name, Email, Registration fields etc...] I would like to create a solution where users should be able to load the excel file. once the excel file is loaded, each entry in the excel needs be created as a case and should be added to work basket automatically as a seperate case. please let me know the list of steps involved in creating this solution.
