Creating File System repository with network drive

I'm creating a File System Respository for devOps. Since, one of the network drives is acessible from orchestration and all candidate systems, I tried creating File Respository there by providing the resource path as \\XXX706\common
But is not allowing me to save the repository rule. However, when I use any folder from D drive, it saves and connect successfully.

I'm getting the following error in logs:-

com.pega.platform.integrationengine.repository.RepositoryException: There was an issue during checking if a file or directory exists.
	at com.pega.platform.integrationengine.repository.internal.RepositoryManagerImpl.getFileReference(RepositoryManagerImpl.java:581) ~[integration-engine.jar:?]
	at com.pega.platform.integrationengine.repository.internal.RepositoryManagerImpl.exists(RepositoryManagerImpl.java:443) ~[integration-engine.jar:?]
	at com.pegarules.generated.activity.ra_action_validate_883518784956e9adaf184698a927437a$Pz_8_0_1.step(ra_action_validate_883518784956e9adaf184698a927437a.java:800) ~[?:?]

Could you please help me how to use network drive as repository?
